Love the pipe fish, is it trained to eat frozen?

The pipefish was captive bred and eats frozen. You can also see him hunting around the rock for food.

I heard pipefish aren't reef safe? Is that what u mean by trained frozen eater?

Pipefish are completely reef safe, docile and totally harmless unless you are a pod. They are carnivores but their tiny mouths pose no threat to any ornamental inhabitants. Unless they are trained or become accustomed to eating frozen mysid shrimp, they must have a good source of live (tiny) prey in the tank in order to survive.
