When James Fatherree was here we talked about slime algea it sims to be able to grow with or without any nutritents. What I do is I have a slime vac which I showed him. All it is,is a siphon tube that has a progressive smaller tubes until you are down to airline1/4" hard tubing this consontrates your suction and slime algea comes off rocks and glass in sheets plus you don't remove excess water.
