how do you attach fragged xenia?
« on: June 24, 2008, 10:09:05 am »
I have tried to frag xenia before but failed to attach it to some rubble rock and it died. I used some netting and a rubberband to secure the xenia but like I said it didn't attack and it died.

I heard that you could use some kind of glue to attach it.

Please tell me some ways to attach fragged xenia.

Any super glue that is cyanoacrylate based.  Just look at the bottle it will usually say it under danger.

I have had success with toothpicks. I just poked the toothpick through the base of the xenia and into my liverock. After about a week I then remove the toothpick.

Thanks guys for the help.

I used na.lamar's advise and used glue, I now have a frag of xenia that is attached and seems to be doing well!  ;D

Now I'll have to frag some more xenia.
