April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I've signed you up for a ride in the Talon.  We just had it finished up buy a guy in Vancouver WA that works on the 4G63 exclusively.  We go pick it up tomorrow!

Well, you may have to settle for a slow ride in the talon.   Sad  Got a boost leak or something strange going on.  Car is currently slower than it was when it was stock.  The guy that did the work is helping me try to get it figured out, and if I can't, told me to just bring it back and he'll get it done for me at no charge, so that's pretty cool.  The motor sounds nice...it's just not doing anything.

Regardless, it will be DANG good to see you again Angel!  Really looking forward to seeing you again.   Cool

Well, it could be worse.  Nacho went fishing Sunday morning and his little white pick up got totaled.  He was yielding for a truck that was loaded with lumber and the driver had the sun in his eyes and didn't even see him there and he went around the curb to the left and ran over (literaly) his front end with his back tires.  Nacho seen that he was getting close so he put it in reverse and the truck still got him.  You can actually see the tire marks where it went right over his hood and nothing happen to the other guys truck.  Enough of that, we're just thankful that he didn't run the cab over.  Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that we are looking forward to seeing you and just hanging out like the good old days.   Cry Cool

Now for the important question:  did he catch any fish?  Glad to hear the truck was the only casualty.

He came home saying that his gut instinct told him that he was going to catch a big sturgeon and that's why he went so early in the morning.  He didn't even make it to the river so I guess his gut instinct is a little wore out Huh

I am glad nacho is ok.  Wouldn't be the same without him.  Thank the Guardian Angel in his passenger seat!

Slow ride is better than no ride in the Talon.  Hopefully will be dropping a 3" cat back on on the Nissan tomorrow since the stock muffler decided to fall off!  Grin

See you all soon!

Well my friend...I have bad news, it'll be no ride in the Talon.   Sad  Something went through the turbo and did some very serious damage.  Until I get all the plumbing from the trubo to the throttlebody cleaned, I'm not starting the car.  We think it was a chunk of rubber, but I don't want to chance anything getting into the motor and scarring a cylinder wall.

I'll show you pictures of the turbine blades when you get here.

Hope your exhaust went better than our work has so far.   Tongue
