January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

He guys,  I've been talking with Eric at the Shark Reef in Silverdale WA.  If we want to get an order together, he is willing to SHIP them to  us via overnight on Delta Air.  We'd just need to go get stuff at the Pasco Airport.  Shipping cost for him to send it down is roughly $0.40 per pound, payable to the air line on pick-up.  I'm pasting his post from ReefFrontiers below, let me know if there is interest in doing this.

Nate

FROM SHARK REEF:

Hey everyone,

I figured since we have so many great looking fish in stock and we have now
started our 5th year in business that I would do a major sale on all the
fish, inverts and corals. Below you will find a list of all the new stock as
well as the blowout prices on some of the great new fish and inverts.

So be sure to stop by and pick out something new for your tank.

Thanks for your support,

Eric

Talking with him about the SPS John...I was thinking we could maybe try to organize this at the meeting?  I have the brochure with pictures of what he can get, and some additional info that you may or may not have about the process.  What do you think?

That might work, anyone want anything specific?  Sounds like we need to get going on a group order.

Daisha, you likely won't want to pick it up when you realize you have to go to the Kitsap Peninsula to find them.  They are near Bremmerton (other side of the narrows bridge).

We have a fire, 2 pistol and some peppermints, they don't bother each other at all.  Now, we tried once to introduce a second fire...that didn't go so well.    Cry

I might be interested in ordering a couple of corals, but the website doesn't have a listing of what's available or price.  Are the fish sale prices listed above still good, or did the sale end on the 2nd?
