April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Here is my new toy a 1992 Nissan 240SX.  I hate the big bling bling rims so I will be selling them soon to get some nice black rims on there.  It should be on the road this weekend as I get it registered and tagged.  Nate will appreciate that I ordered slotted rotors for it and new pads!  I will keep this thread updated as I work on this car.  I won't do as much as I did with the motor as i did the CRX but will make the car look as Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) as possible.  Thanks all

I knew it.   Grin  Welcome to the wonderful world of forced induction!  Good luck with the swap, I'm sure it'll go fine.  I hear those are pretty much textbook these days.

Thanks John!!!!!!

The Sr20det non turbo is a direct bolt in swap.  The turbo version needs to get custom down pipes and some other little things but to get the sr20det turbo online for $1,700 bucks is a deal that you really can't pass up!  I figure i will get the motor next year after i do some cosmetic upgrades.  While I have the engine out I will replace some of the internals and get the downpipes and other stuff.  We shall see!!!!

If I remember my Nissan terminology, the non-turbo is an SR20DE (no T, no Turbo).  Am I wrong on that Angel (and is it now Angel240?? Grin)?

I believe you are right.  I was on a forum the other day and I can't beleive the different swaps for my car!  Oh well that's in the future so i have time to do more research.  In the mean time I have to get rid of the ghetto pimp look and put on the JDM pride look.  Grin

Ok sounds good but that is a more expensive install project!  3gs more for just the motor!

Most definitely.  It like over 100hp stock more than the sr20det!  Seriously considereing it.  I got the new cross drilled rotors in will post pics later.
