January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Zul,

I should be around this coming weekend if you still need a hand.  I've got some buckets and such I can bring if needed as well.  Saturday would be better for me, sometime after 9 AM.

We are going to work both weekends if needed, Phil is taking off the 22nd, is off on the 23rd and of course the 24th and 25th. On the 24th he has to work at the Park till about 11:00 AM. We have Ed's big water tank now, so we will get the livestock and rock over to McMurray this weekend and as much of the tank as we can manage.

Zul, can you give me directions to get to your current place?  If so, I should be able to come lend a hand still.

First Day

Thanks a lot for the help to Marty.

Thank you very much to Rick, Nate and Colleen. It was a full day from noon to 10:30 PM, we took down, moved, cleaned up and re-plumbed the tank.

Second Day

We started again at noon and by about 4:00 PM had water in the tank with a new pump pumping out about 5,000 gph in the closed loop. There are new holes through the wall. There are new durso pipes and at the end of a very long weekend a very clean tank with no leaks with everything in a room behind the room with only the stand and tank in it. This week we will set up the skimmer, lights, electricity and put the wood around the tank and stand. Thanks again to Nate, Colleen and Rick for your help. We could not have done it without you.

Had a lot of fun helping out Zul.  It was nice to spend some time with you, Phil, and Rick!  Can't wait to see pictures of the tank all put together and the fish swimming around!

Zul,

I was glad I could help out, just as you and Phil have done for us so many times.

It was a lot of fun and that tank setup should work out very well for you.

Hi again, thanks Jeff.

I am finished with the stand and skimmer, I will put the saltwater in tomorrow with just VHO light. We have to wait for Les on the MH and chiller. Thanks.
