April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

All,

The stand for my tank is complete and sitting out in Les's shop. The pictures arent of the finished stand though they show it after sanding was complete. I will post more when I can get out and take more pictures. The construction was done by Les and I did the sanding work on the frame and doors. The material is redwood/plywood interior with a Black Walnut exterior.  - Brandon

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Les does great work.  We as a club are extremely fortunate to have Les in our club.  There are very few of us that has not received some type of help from him.

Thanks Les, we appreciate all you do for us.  Smiley

Brandon, that stand is going to be beautiful, black walnut is very nice wood.
