Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Jeff,
I am sure you have been talking to Ilham.   He uses a heater inside a tube with a air stone to hatch his eggs in ten gallon aquariums.   The tube prevent fry from seeing the red light of heater and direct contact.   Fry often go to light.     I am going up there today.   If you need something Let Ilham know and maybe he can bring it to meeting.   I have Ilhams  number also.   So If you want to call me and then you can talk one on one.    I am thinking rotifers for fry and algae.    You have my cell.   The meeting is early this time so I have to leave soon here.

Very cool - great pics.  Can't wait to see if you successfully rear some of the fry!  Good luck.

During today while I was sleeping they got the fry to free them selves from the nest I lost them all. It was bummer I whad asked Ed to see if he could get me some rotifiers Thanks for Trying Ed. Next time they lay and start the fanning process I know this is the time to siphon them from the nest and put them in my brood pen I would like to try and raise these guys & It seems my pair of clowns spawns now about every 2 months so I will try again ...
A couple of last pictures taken before I hit the hay this morning.

Jeff,
I tried calling you tonight.   I got you some rotifers.
I also talked to Ilham about your clowns.   He said you should have more eggs next week end.   He said the egg laying never stops if things are kept in the same  shape.   Cheesy
