April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Thanks Angel.  Let me tell you, there's more work that went into this than it looks!  It's funny how after things are together, it all looks so simple.

I hear you Nate man.  The more I learn the more I want to do to the tank!  As I sit there and plan it out I get depressed at how much else I have to do just to make a minor tweak! Angry  Oh well when I buiod my ultimate tank I should know plenty to be able to set up a sweet system.

Well, I forgot to bring the camera card with me, but the tank is ~2/3 full of water now, with sand and rock already in place.  Have another 60 gallons ready to go in tonight, will probably still have to make another 30 or so to be able to start up the pump, but we do at least have a heater and powerhead in the tank keeping the live rock alive.   Smiley

I'll try to get pictures of my task from Monday (5 new footings as per the structural engineer I talked with), and the tank as it is at the moment.  Hope to have it all up and the pump running by this weekend!
