April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I've been busy, behind the scenes, but busy.  This past weekend I finally finished the re-plumb using spaflex and hard pipe for my supply lines.  This weekend I'll be getting some help to move the tank, install the modified sump (thanks Les!), and do another trial run.  If there's no leaks, I'll be looking for help to move the tank back off the stand and move things inside to cut more holes in the floor for the chiller install and connect the overflow protection plumbing to the drain that has been in my floor for almost 2 years now waiting for the tank.  We seriously need less hobbies!

I'll try to get some pictures in the next couple days.

Well, there has been tap water running through the system in the garage with no problems to be seen for nearly 2 days now.  It's official, I'll be moving it in the house to work on plumbing the chiller, overflow protection and automatic top-off/secondary pump for draining (water changes) the weekend before Christmas.  Hope to have saltwater in it and running by sometime in January!   Cool

Way to go Nate. We knew you could do it.  How 'bout some pics so we can see the project?

Will have to try to get some this evening.  Nothing overly impressive to look at unfortunately...they'll be pretty boring.   Tongue

Thats ok.  We like to see the internal workings of the tank as well as the beautiful finished product. So bring on that plumbing.
