April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

One day at a time!

« on: August 11, 2006, 03:42:02 am »

Darn it anyway. I have been sitting here for over an hour trying to download a pix of my tank...finally. But, all the files are too big and I don'tknow how to resize yet. I guess it is time to pull out the ole book. Anyway... I am trying so I can show you my new additions. Be patient. Eventually I will figure it out.

Ok save your picture in to a microsoft paint format.  Open the file and go to "Image" in your toolbar.  Select "Stretch/skew".  The file size should be at 100% so cut it down to 25% by overwriting the numbers in the boxes.  For both horizontal and vertical.  Click ok.  Go to "File" in your toolbar.  Select "Save as".  Name it and select ".jpeg" in the file type box.  Click ok and you are done.  Works everytime for me.  HTH?

Here is another method you can try.

Right click on the picture file name, the pop up menu box should have an option to resize image.  Select resize image and you will be give the choice for large, medium or small.  Choose medium, you will also have an option to resize the original image or create a new resized image, the choice is yours however I usually create a new image so I will always have the orginal to work with at a later time.

If the Resize image or picture is not showing up in the popup menu, then go to the Microsoft site and download the windows power toy "image resizer" at

http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

Hope this helps
