Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Ok so I hooked up the RO/DI unit to the bathroom sink with no leaks (if you can believe the leak master) and it seems I don't have enough pressure to push water through the RO/DI to the tank!  So anyways I remember someone in the club having a booster pump to increase the pressure on the their system for something and I was wondering if anyone knows what I am talking about?  If so where can i find one of these booster pumps?  The tank is ready for water now so I need this quick.  Thanks

Never mind I got it working.  I had tapped the water line with the wrong kind of tap.  I changed to a T fitting with a larger hose connector and it works like a charm.  $20 bucks in parts versus an $89 dollar pump. Cheesy

Way to go Angel!  Be your own plumber and save a lot of money!!  We had our RO unit plumbed in our garage - tapped into the already existing line and drain set up for a water softener.  Works great.  But, we need a holding tank.  We got our chiller today, so Darrel's next project is an auto top-off.  He is tired of pouring buckets of water in every day already and we've only had the tank filled for 2 weeks!  It is okay - good for him to have a project, not sure what he'll do when he has it all done (that never happens anyway, right?).
