April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Mike,
I was talking to Matt about digital cameras.   You said this is one of your hobbies?   Matt told me to look at the Nikons because of the check white option.   Do you know of any other cameras that have this option.  I wanted to make sure people could see the true color of coral.   I just about bought a camera last week end.   Wife told me not to :?: buy one right now getting too close to christmas.   What would be your idea camera for this?

How much money do you have to play with.  I always tell people to pick a price range and then buy into that range.  Otherwise you end up saying, wow this one has this for $100 more and if I add another $50 I can get one with this and so on and so on.

I have been very happy with the Nikons, and the Canons.  I have one of each, a Nikon D1, and a Canon Elf S400, I have also owned a sony D700 and a Nikone Coolpix 990.  All the cameras were pretty good.

Yeah that Canon A70 is a great camera, you will not be disapointed in it.  Ed here is a great site for digital camera reviews and features

Mike,
I found a fine pix 2.0 in the paper today for 40 dollars.  I am trying to buy that one to hold me off till after Christmas.   I just wondered into it today.   Let me know how Dori does please.

dang..........I missed that Fuji 2 meg camera. It was nice of the previous owner to let me know.  I hope some guy name Jerry is happy.   That dirty dog.   Oh well, I will keep looking.   I was told to go check out the Samsung 4meg at Costco.  I think it is a  Samsung 425.  I did not see anything about it in the site you gave me Mike.   I have been looking in there quite a bit.   Thanks again
