Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Dashia is going to be the host for the November meeting Cheesy   Yeah Dashia Cheesy

It will be her first time hosting a meeting, so lets make it a great one.  We have elections to wrap up at this meeting.  And the other usual club items.  There were a few tasks assigned last meeting that we should be able to wrap up as well.

Dashia has selected Friday, November the 18th as the night.  As usual we will be sending out directions via email message so as to not post personal information on the web.

In order to help Dashia out, lets try to get a head count so she knows how many people to expect.

Thanks
Rick

Hey All-
The meeting is at 7:00pm. I think this is the meeting for voting on officers. I know with Angel moving on we are still in need for a secretary- (keep it in mind)

Oh, and I like the whole "head count" thing in Rick's post so I know if I have enough chairs or need to get some! Thanks. (I know so far nobody has responded) I am a little offended......    Just kidding- I am not offended....yet.

Remember, it takes volunteers to keep this club moving forward. Please consider running for a position.

Well, you know Rick and I will be there!

I'd love to have some people come out of the woodwork and volunteer to run for office.  It really isn't that much of a time commitment and the more people involved the more fun it will be.  (Just don’t plan a wedding the same summer as the fish conference).

If you have questions as to what the position entails, please do not hesitate to contact me!

I would not mind running for a position. There is one problem.  I wanted to travel to as many club meetings this year and bring information back to share with group.   I still believe the more eyes we have on a issue the more ideas and ways to improve.   Its also very important to me to participate in my kids activities.
I am working on talking Stace into leaving Saturday morning for Seattle as we speak of that week end.   I am making every effort to make this meeting.  Cheesy

I may be going out of town for a week or two but no date set yet.  I should be able to make it though.

Still up in the air for Colleen and I, may be tied up.  Won't know until late next week...if it's a problem to let you know that late, we can just skip it.  We don't mind sitting on the floor if you are 2 chairs short though!

So, my wife just arranged for she and I to finally go out together for the first time in a few months (it's not easy getting a babysitter for four small kids including an infant and a toddler), and it's set of next Friday at 7:00.  Absolutely amazing miscoordination.  Since the fish club won't qualify as a romantic evening out I'm not going to be able to make it.

I'm starting to think that I just wasn't meant to be part of this club anymore...

I am sorry that Jane and I will not be able to make it.  This time we will be in California for a wedding and a few days with Jane's Dad.  It has been a long time since we have been able to make it to a meeting.  I just wanted to let you all know that we are still around and have not lost interest.  We will try for December.
