Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Notes on storing this from Jon.
When you get this product, it needs to be stored in a sealed container to retain its moisture to be the most effective.

Here are things I learned earlier about this product.   It needs to be rinsed before use with RO or RO/DI water.     I plugged my reactor into RO water in a Bucket and  Ran the Media Reactor for a couple hours.   I then removed water from Bucket and repeated the process with new RO or RO/DI water.   That is the way I was told to do this from people with a back ground of using it in Seattle.
This again is a oppinon on how to use it.

The Rinsing is true Ed if you plan on using it in a Reactor. But If you "bag it" Rowa Phos states to not rinse it but bag it and put it in the tank and yes the tank will clowd up a little But the skimmer seems to clean that up quite quickly. this has been the way i have been using it  Cheesy F.W.I.W................Jeff
