January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Ok have you thought about washer hoses at Lowes? That's what I use for my chiller and works great with clamps.

Do you know if they come in 1 1/2" Angel?  We thought about it, but never went to look at any yet.  We also thought about radiator hose, but the one Darrel looked at had metal spiral inside the tubing so that was no good.  We are looking/considering everything!  Thanks for your help!

The one I bought is one inch so I didn't look for anything bigger.  You may just want to swing by and see if any other sizes are available?  HTH.

I would worry about radiator hose leaking things into tank. :?:
Spa places have flexi pipe.   That is where I would look.
hope this helps,

Darrel has been to all the spa places...he is really frustrated that he can't find what we need to finish up the plumbing.  Radiator hose didn't work - when you pull out wire, it crimps.  I found some different hoses online, but of course they are in Germany or Thailand or something...still looking.

Vicki,
I can find some in town I bet.     I am thinking of a Pool and Spa place.
They usually sell it by the foot.   I thought I saw some at Home depot the other day also.  I could be wrong.   It might be seasonal stuff.     :?:

I am pretty sure the name of it is Flexi-pipe.   Maybe you will get more feedback when you ask for that.   How about Koi Joy also?

Found what we needed at Koi Joy...thanks everyone for your input!  Tank is running - no leaks - we are testing everything now.   Keep your fins crossed!
