April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Everyone.  Wouldn't it figure on the month that Angela and I are going to host the next meeting, that I run into one problem or another with the tank.  first, Wednesday we spring a leak. Well, I got that fixed, but my ballest has taken a dump on me.  Does anyone out there have a ballest for a 175 W that I could borrow until I can get mine up and running? Let me know.  I've got clams complaining about the dark.  Thanks.

What is with the leaks lately?  Mine, Nate's, Dashia's and now John's.  And then there's the ballasts thing with Dashia's first and now John's?  There must be reef goblins coming in for Halloween.

I was about to set up a 29G to help with my impending tank move, but I discovered a small chip out of the corner which compromised the seal.  Glad I didn't skip the freshwater leak test.

Feeling lucky I didn't join this group right now.   Smiley

So how do I dispose of a chipped 29 Gallon glass tank?

That would be called a dumpster!  Same place my old 55g glass sump is going.
