April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I drilled a second smaller hole on top of the durso and that greatly improved the noise problem.  I still the original hole there with a valve so I can actually tune it as needed.  I hate messing with it though becasue it I close it too much or raise it too high it either gets noisy again or starts to raise the water level too high!  It is really quiet now though, now if I can only fix the water surges I would be happy!

Back to square one.

Another stinkin leak sprung tonight! :x   It is on the main drain pipe at the threads.  I am using the pvc cement on it and I hope it will fix it tonight because if not the tank won't be circulation water through the sump for a day or two until I can get it stopped.  Right now I have the overflow drained and will put several coats of PVC cement to see it fit works.

Wish me luck.

Back to sqaura one.

My tank sprung a new leak tonight!   :x   It is on the main drain to the sump and the threads.  I shut off the return pump and let the sump fill up to get water out of the main tank.  I then drained the overflow and I am covering the threads in PVC cement since that seemed to work with the first few leaks.  It has to be fixed tonight or the tank won't be circulating any water through the sump for a few days.

Any help would or advice would be appreciated.  Thanks
