April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I have a question about my RO unit. Should more water go out as waste than goes into the tank clean?

Can the waste water be used for anything oh Water guru?

Does it have to go down the drain or can I water plants with it?

You can water plant, dogs & cats with it.  I use mine to rinse the skimmer cup and wash the gunk down the drain.

ive heard of people filling washing machines too lol usually you will see a 4 to 1 ratio i believe so for every gallon you make you just put 4 down the drain.

The next meeting is May 28th, 6pm our house, back yard, band, dancing, food & fun.  Probably not much reef talk, but anyone who wants to look at the tank is welcome.

For those who are planning on attending, please let us know so we can have enough hors d'oeuvres & drink

Oh, and there will be a little wedding on the side.

Angel,

You are very welcome.  Now I just want to see some waves in that new tank

BTW, you can stop the RTN on that acro by applying super glue to the good tissue just above the RTN line.  It will work like a dam and stop the progression of the RTN.

With the acro crab on it I didn't want to chance it.  I managed to get a couple of good sized frags off of it.  We will see.
