April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

If you bought it in a food store and it is considered edible, Yes...

The real test is if your tangs eat it, and they probably will love it.

Hey, I eat that stuff, and I am not even related to the Tang family!  Sushi - yum!!!  (not sure I could eat sushi in front of my reef tank when I have fish in there tho - oh, the guilt!)

future reference though you need to be sure it is unseasoned before buying. I have seen some nori that is peanut glazed or mustard or crazy stuff like that.

Where do you find nori in the Tri-Cities?? That's got to be considerably less expensive than the local fish stores.

I think you can get it at any aisian market(i got mine at the one on clearwater ) 1.69 for 10 huge sheets, my tang loves the stuff, and my sally lightfoot will snag the the tangs dinner and run off with it of he can

if yokes by your house has an asian foods section you might try there too

its just roasted seaweed, mine doesnt even say nori except for in fine print on the back of the bag

Ryan,

I purchased the nori at Leyte Oriental store (Asian Market) in Richland next to McDonalds for 1.99 . Here is a map.
