April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I know not a lot of folks in the club are up on ricordeas (or Rics as they are sometimes called) but I just got a nice little rock with colors on them.  half the rock has yellow rics adn the other half has blueish purple rics.  They are beautiful and I just couldn't pass them up.  Several people had been in to inquire about them and said they would be back later.

Anyway they have the leftovers from someone's 120g and the rock is covered in hair algae (they call it moss) and it looks ugly but the rock itself is nice looking.  They have a man made arch that weighs 20lbs and I am seriously thinking about getting but I have to talk to Mike and see if he will make me a better deal than the guys in the store there today.

We shall see.

Hey Angel,

So you were the one who bought those sick rics! I'm so mad at myself for not grabbing those!  I've  seen a ton of rics and those yellow and purple floridas are a one of a kind. I went in to buy those the next day and they said they sold them 15 mins after I left.  I'm so jealous! You also don't have to worry about rics with small fish, a lot of my friends and I have yumas and floridas in our tanks along with a lot of gobies and have never had a problem.
