Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Ohhhh Geez, I leave for a couple of months and you all turn into a bunch of freaks. Cheesy

BTW. I will not step foot into AT if my life or my tank depended on it. It is a petstore, not a saltwater store. They need to stay out of the saltwater industry.

Been awhile since anyone has shared any new experiences or talked about the stores changing for the better or worse.

I know that Chris at AT rocks and I hate to go there when he's not there.  AT now gives our club members a 15% discount which is good on dry goods.  I have been by a couple of times and haven't seen much of a selection in there so I don't browse as often as I used to.

AB on the other hand has been getting all kinds of nice stuff in but some how people get in and buy the stuff up early and quickly.   Mike is also getting more equipment in the store which AT doesn't have.  You can special order things at AB too.  Mike will wheel and deal with you too which is nice.  The guys that work for him are getting better at giving advice and I know for a fact that they are careful what they say when I am in there!  Cheesy   Even if you aren't buying anything stop by and visit them and see for yourself.  I got a beautiful pink acro and it came with two crabs (one good and one bad (the bad one went to the sump)).   But the coral is doing wonderful.  New coral for future fragging in the club!!!
