April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Anyone who's interested in rescuing what's still alive, please call me at [redacted].
I need to get rid of any sps that's still alive, as well as some softies.

My tank has been at someone else's house for awhile now and it took a sharp turn for the worse last week, but no one told me.  Now it's in trouble and the current situation is unsustainable.  Most of the fish are dead (and were allowed to rot in the tank), the protein skimmer died, the refugium has become isolated from the tank, I had heat problems with the MH so now it's on (strong) PCs, and many of the sps frags have died.  Please take away what's still alive since I have no where to keep it now (I will warn you that there is a lot of algae on things).  All I want in return is that you remember me when I eventually set up another tank. Oh wow, Paul... that is terrible!  Have you called Rico, Ed, Les - anyone who might not be on the board tonight who might be able to help too?  Sure wish I could help you out - no tank, no saltwater yet...gosh, sorry for your bad luck there.

Thanks for everyone's response tonight.  Within a very short time I heard from Ed, Angel, Shane, and Les.  Between Ed, Shane, Angel, and Rick all of my surviving sps have found homes, as well as some of my softies.

Without a good stable tank at the moment, and without any time for setting up and maintaining a new one, I will be backing off a little bit.  I'll probably sell off the largest tank I have now (95G custom tall) and its associated stand and equipment, and shoot for a bit smaller tank in a few months.  I also need to aquire a new skimmer rated for 75G or come up with a filtration solution for my 20G tall if I'm going to retain anything I still have left.  How can I tell if the glass can be drilled?  Or is there a better solution?

Thanks for everyone's help.
