January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

I would imagine that my husband, Darrel, knows him.  I will ask him when he gets home.  Darrel has worked out there for almost 20 years.  Wish I would get a chance to meet you - will have to meet at the April meeting.  You've done some nice photography, which is one of my hobbies too. (although I am no Ansel Adams to be sure - I do enjoy it).

Well another successful meeting has come and gone and I loved meeting all the new folks.  Our meetings are getting bigger and better all the time.  The topic presented on the X10 system was totally fascinating and I am glad Les was there to ask questions and make us weigh our options.  Seeing the different tanks and set ups is always a good way to compare and learn.  I know it is hard to keep me quiet but sometimes I like to just listen to people describe their tanks and hear the joy they get from this hobby.  Thanks Rick and Barbie for hosting.  Barbie you always make it fun with your trivia and gifts so you have the perfect role (the cats are entertaining too  Cheesy ).

I wish everyone could make it out to the meeting and share in this great club of ours.  See you all next month or maybe I'll call for some help with my set up day!

The March 2005 meeting will be held at Rick and Barbie's place on Saturday the 26th of March at 7 pm.
And as usual, if you have any frags to share, bring them as well.
Thanks
Rick

Jeff,

Those are awesome looking acro's.  I'm glad you like the frags you got.  they should grow nicely in your system.  Did you get the new ones from cquaria.com?

And thanks for testing my water with your new spectral analyzer.  Does it do more than phosphate?
