January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

The March 2005 meeting will be held at Rick and Barbie's place on Saturday the 26th of March at 7 pm.

We will send out an email to the club members for directions.  As usual please bring a snack and beverage of your choice.

The topic of the meeting will be controlling you reef with a computer and X10 devices.

Also for those of you who have books they want to share so others may get a peek, please bring them.  This is a leftover item from last meeting.  And as usual, if you have any frags to share, bring them as well.

If you have any questions, please send us a note.

Thanks
Rick

Angel,  Barbie forced me to pick this day.  She chased me around the house with an axe!!  Seriously, whoever is the host(ess) gets to pick the day, Les didn't care so we put it up for vote.

Zul, we look forward to seeing you here.

My wife and I will be attending this time.  She is convinced that this could be interesting and that she just might enjoy it.

See you there. Cool

Oh, and Angel. Don't believe Rick about the axe.  In fact, he's the one doing the chasing.

Nacho,

I'm glad that both you and your wife will be attending.  I look forward to seeing you again, and I look forward to meeting your wife.

It is just to bring any frags you want to share.  It is not important to bring any at all, just if you have done some trimming and have extras it is nice to share and get corals in other tanks in case a loss occurs.

I have mostly SPS and many members do not have tanks to support SPS, so they usually go to those who can.  Last meeting Paul brought an awesome Oregon Blue tort that was not doing well in his tank.  It is doing wonderful in mine and when Paul gets setup again I will give him back a very nice frag  Cheesy

Oh great! I love frags.

I have a few small frags of some nice lemon lime zoos I might bring.

Should they be bagged individually?

That is your choice, but probably a good idea.  If bagged separatly I will put in my system for holding, if not, they stay in the bucket.  I do not want to put something in that I do not treat for flatworms or do an Iodine dip on.  Just being cautious...

Clarkiiclown, I'll take one of those frags, thanks.  I have quite a few zoos and sounds like yours would be a nice addition.
