Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I found what looked like a nudibranch in my tank this morning but it was a dull brown looking color. So I was like "hmmm that is interesting. Let me get on RF and find out what it is?" And I went to the research forum and looked up nudibranches and identified mine as a coral eater!  So out he came and now the only thing he will be eating is trash!  I was glad they have the resource available.  There are good Nidubranches and there are bad nudibranches it is good to be able to distinguish which is which before they get problematic.

Good catch Angel!  A bad nudibranch is just a nuisance and not even pretty from your description - sort of like those ugly Seattle slugs I guess!  Yuck...I hated those things!

Thanks vickiG yeah I wasn't too happy but now the thing to do is find out how he got there?  Must have been on the last peice of rock I got!  It also cam ewith Majano Anemonies and I have been trying to get rid of them with lemon juice shots.  May try some Joe's juice because the last three I am trying to get rid of are really stubborn.
