January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

ok most of you guys probably dont shop here, but i did come across a trick, there prices are 25-50% higher than there website prices
if you print what you want and take it to the store they will honor the price
for example oceanic 90 gal salt mix is 19.99 online and around 36.00 at the store , instant ocean 9.99 for 50 gal mix, 18.99 in the store, powersweep powerhead 13.99, 22.00 at the store, the marine lab test kit is only 27.99 online, and 39.99 at the store

for people who dont want to pay freight on dry goods this will save you a ton of $$ , but remember you gotta print it out and take it with you, happy shopping Cheesy

I've been doing this for the IO 160 gallon salt bucket.  The online price is $36 (plus $16 shipping).  At the store, with the printout, they'll give you the salt for $36 plus tax...no additional charge for shipping!  That's a great deal.

Also, now that Eric is running the store at Amazon Bay in Richland, he has priced the Instant Ocean 160 gal buckets at $39.  So if Petsmart is out of stock or you are closer to Richland, you can get a great buy on the salt at Amazon Bay.

Let's help Eric and support the new guy!  I'd pay an extra 3 bucks for great customer service and a true fish guy anyday!!!!!!
