Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I am in need of a way to make up 100 gallons of water at one time. That is no wider then 22 inches and no longer then 48 inches. It needs to be light weight so that it can be moved with minimal effert.

I want to avoid using multiple containers, in example two 50 gallon garbage cans.
Any ideas?Huh

Why so much water at once?  Can you run your RO/DI unit right to your tank and then make as much water as you need?  I have never seen a 100g drum just 50g drums.  The  most I think you will be able to get is the trashcan as you mentioned that I can think of.

Hmmm sound like you need to build an acrylic tank on wheels!

Home Depot has 65g roll away trashcans.  That's bigger than 50g but not as big as the 100g you are looking for.  But it's an option.

Hmmmm. I will have to keep that in mind. Maybe they have something else. Or maybe I could make a frame and use thick pond liner for one.

Hey Ed, what are the chances you can score me a couple of those plastic 55 drums from work. I will pay for them.
