January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Thanks Matt,
I had a pretty good time.   I picked up some pink stylopora and some pink poclopora.   I also called Rick and picked up a small blue tang for him.   I hope blue tang is doing ok.   Rick taught me something I forgot.  I need to start using a insulated cooler to relocate fish.   I use to do this.  I was tired and did not ask for a box this trip.   My mistake.  I just hope Mikes fish is Ok? :?:

Hey Ed..  Thanks again for picking up my fishy..  He looks ok, a little spotty and still a little timid, and I don't think he is eating, but he looks much better then he did when I put him in the tank.  Hopefuly he will snap out of it.

Thanks Again
Mike

Mike,
I watched Rick Pockwell feed him a combination of prime reef cubes and flake and something else. He mixed it in a blender.    I have some of Ricks H"s shrimp and some nori you are free to try if you want?

I have had fish go long as a week before eating. This is not unusual. <SP>

Matt,
Do you work Fridays?     I think most of the shops close at 6pm.  I heard today there was going to be a shipment coming in.   I am up in the air...I would love for you to go up there with me and anyone else that wants to go.   People can just look if they want?

Well he ate last night.  He is just a little wierd (Hippo's are like that)  When he gets spooked he will just swim into a corner and lay on his side.  It just kinda freaks you out..

Aquatic Dreams had him with about eight Anthias he was dominating them(eating faster and more than them) for some  reason?   I think he thought he was a Anthias.  He was struting his stuff.    I might of over stressed him with the paper bag instead of the cooler?    :?:

Wait until one morning you look into the tank and see him wedged into the rocks sideways not moving. Thats how mine slept.
