Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I have developed a condition on at least one finger on each hand which will keep me from being able to put them in my tank for awhile.  With my wife pregnant and afraid of the toxins in the tank it has been very difficult to maintain the tank lately.

Does anyone know where I can pick up some gloves adequate to keep my hands dry down to the bottom of my tanks (~18" high) and resistant to the rock and harsh seawater so that they can be reused over the course of a couple months?  I haven't seen anything like this in our local stores (they don't really have much equipment anyway) and I'm no longer going to Seattle for anything so I don't have a chance to shop around up there anymore.

Thanks!

PSA,
Try this link, http://www.mcmaster.com.
Go to catalog page 1614.
I have purchase from this outfit before and have no complaints with them.

I think you can go to Ranch and Home and pick up those big rubber gloves for doing full body cavity searches on cows and stuff..

Thanks for the suggestions.  I guess I'll try ranch and home first since it's close.

Angel and I  used disposable gloves last Sunday for transplanting goodies in my Tank.   They worked fantastic.      PSA, I will try to remember to bring you some if you show on Friday at Mikeydogs.   I hope you can make it.
