January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Mike,
You need to go to Spokane with me.    You can get better deals than that at Coral Reef.   You do not pay for shipping and you can see your fish fed in front of you.    Steve orders every other week usually on Tuesday or Wednsday.    You can call him at 509-535-8787.   Its up to you....I like to take my wifes Honda up there.   It cost me bout 12 bucks roud trip.   I feel it is worth it most of the time unless someone has a sale  here.     Smiley

I don't know Ed.  I think it's pretty hard to beat $24.00 for a Hippo Tang or $17 for a Yellow with no shipping charges.  I have ordered a few times from these guys and they do a great job

MIke,
I have seen hippos up there for $18.    I have seen yellow tangs for $15.  I even saw them(yellow) for $9 once.     If you are still interested check out my 30 dollar(Hippo) tang?    I will part with one if it does not hurt my coral.     Rick came over tonight and could not believe I paid that for it.     I told him you wanted some food also.    He sold me two packages.    I will part with one bag if you need some ?

Mike,
Yes Rick had more shrimp.   He sold it to me for 4 dollars a package as before.   I did buy his hammer from him for $40.   I  do not know what shift you work?   I work 6am- 230 pm M-F.   Stop by and check out the Hippo if you want him?   Feel free to call me on my cell or home phone.  I tried to call you last night.  But again, I do not know what time you work or if it was even your number  ?   I think your idea you sent me sounds good.   Maybe we all can get together at my house when we all have the time?  Maybe Matt knows a good way of getting one of my tangs out with out hurting anything else in my tank.  I am starting to think he can do anything............The DYI are fantastic.    I want someone elses opinion on my tank.   I am still looking for balls pickeling lime.   If someone can spare to sell some?   I have a UV sterilizer I was hoping someone could show me how to fix?   The outer casing is broke.   I believe the Quartz sleeve and everything else are ok.
