April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Brent has a sump that has a minor defect for sale for anyone interested.......

Quote from Brent  earlier tonight..

Hey, I made a mistake on a sump this weekend, and have to rebuild it for a guy back East. After he had approved the main drawing, he asked for the baffles to be moved so a larger skimmer could fit. I agreed two months ago, but forgot to update my drawing. When I pulled the drawing and built it, I made it to the (incorrect) plan. I caught it Sunday night as I was boxing it up for him. Sad

Anyway, I'm making him a new one, so have his old one sitting here looking for home.  Here are the drawings for it. It does have one defect, the last baffle is a little crooked.

New price for this sump is $349, but I'll selling it to the first taker at $100 off.   I can post about it because businesses are banned from the selling forums, but I'll put it up on my web site in a week or so if word of mouth does not move it.  If you know of anyone looking for a pretty large sump, let me know please.

Here are the specs:
    48x14x18"
    Capacity: 52 gallons
    Weight: 62 pounds
    Five baffle setup
    Refugium
    Large input compartment
    Rounded and polished edges
Defect: Last baffle is a little crooked

I'm in no hurry to sell it- I think it will move pretty fast though. I just want it to go to a good home. Wink

Thanks-
sale...

Whoa!  Now there's a steal.  'Course it's almost as big as my whole tank, but I'd be all over that if I had a bigger tank to connect it to.

So Terry,
Have you decided what tank you will use this sump under?
