American Marine Pinpoint pH Controller

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.  
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.

Hi all just wanted to pass on i bought one of these and they do work very well. At the current time i am just using it for a monitor but it has held its calibration now for 3 week with no drift very impressed ....Jeff


PINPOINT pH Controller? is an inexpensive yet rugged controller, which includes the appropriate probe and calibration fluids. This device will automate another electrical device such as a calcium reactor or magnetic solenoid for the addition of CO2 into an aquaculture or process system. This full feature controller will handle up to 5 amps. Comes complete with probe and calibration fluids.
The PINPOINT pH Controller? is perfect for the freshwater planted aquarium keeper as well as the serious saltwater hobbyist. Will control pH in both a downward and upward direction. It Has held its calibration Ed since I have bought it.  Unit is very Durable have spilled tank water on it and unit hasen't given me any trouble  
Another Thing Ed when i went looking for a PH meter This One was the one every one on Reef frontiers recommended to Me. Nikki  Has been very happy with her's. Best place to Buy is @ http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=AM1311
If you get one I do recomend getting the controler that way it will intergrate in with your calcium reactor...Jeff

I am finishing the setup of controls on my 240.  I am using an Octopus 3000 and will monitor Temp, PH, Conductivity, ORP, water level.  I will control the following.  All pumps, all lighting (including refugiums), chiller, heater, CA reactor, Kalk reactor, Ozone generator, water level.  In addition I will be able to record, log and graph all monitored parameters and store the data on the computer.  It will also send a page to my cell phone when any parameter gets out of line.   Finally it will put up a webpage where I can check status and control from the Web.
