April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

saftest way is to remove rock with water and scrape it with razor blade.   If you poke it in water it will try to repopulate by shooting spores.   So saftest route is remove  rock, scrape adiptasia off  and rinse with RO/DI water without hitting any corals and then reintroduce it back into tank.    Anenomes sting, they are another part of animal vs animal to survive.   They rob nutrients, sting corals and mass populate pretty fast.

I am ready to place an order for some Berghia Nudibranchs to eliminate the ones in my tank.  If anyone is interested please contact me before Friday. They are a little spendy, around 22.00 each with shipping, but are the only thing that preyed upon aptasia exclusively.

They were supposed to ship today for a delivery tomorrow, but I called and asked for the shipment to be sent Wednesday for a Thursday delivery.  My son and his wife just had my first grandson this afternoon and I am little preoccupied.
