Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

There are a few of us trying to organize a large Meeting.    We have some large ideas.   We just got a yes on a place to meet.   We scheduled the Battelle Auditorium for August 14th.   I know Mike Obrien (Mojo) will try to be here.   I also invited all the people from Reef Frontiers.    Just imagine Portland, Seattle, Spokane, and people from all over US meeting in  the Tri -cities together talking about our favorite hobby.    We have a facility to use.   We just need to organize the best of our abilities to make this work.   We talked about going to the river for a bash there.  If we can organize a guest speaker at the Auditorium, A frag sale (colonies shipped in.  New corals)   learn something , then relax shoot the breeze with your favorite buddy from Reef Frontiers.    We could possibly talk about  reef keeping while roasting hot dogs, marsh mellow, and a little water for relaxation.

Oh yeah, and we can have a few brewskis by the river with our feet in the sand

How does that Sound?
Ed

Jeff,
Your the Man!   Thanks Big Time!    Rick and I will get together today for Tickets and flyers.    Can you remind Kevin that people need to fill out information clearly on ticket so they can be eligible for drawing for local coral frags or raffle.    I called Rick H. for  MYSIS shrimp and left a message asking for it Tonight if possible.

Thanks again, Cheesy

Rick said corals will be in this week.   I have a 55 gallon barrel for storing water.   Jeff Lee has brought 2 Rios 2500s to circulate water.   I have those and will give them to Rick today.   The corals are going to be delivered this week.   There is a need for a Heater and I am not sure what else.

I have a heater. I think it is a 300 watter but may only be 150 watts. Can't remember it has been so long since I used heaters.
