April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Hello all,

My skimmer on my 75 went belly up and I need to find a good used skimmer quick. If someone has a Reef Octopus, Bubble Master or SWC for a good price let me know soon please, thanks!

Sorry to hear about the skimmer.  Where are you located, maybe someone near by can loan you one until you can get a replacement.

Welcome to the site as well.  Wish it came under better circumstances for you.

Thanks Nate, Sometimes these things happen. Anyway, I live in Kennewick and I ended up overnighting a new SWC so it will be here this afternoon. Tank mates are looking ticked-off but will be better soon. Just going to do 5 gallon water changes daily until it's up and running right. Thanks for the response.

I am curious which model of SWC.   I like their skimmers.  The PSK2500 pump is a little loud and has rumored some start up issues.  But it still continues to work good for Doctor.

Hi Ed, I picked up the 150 BMK. Read lots of reviews and had an exchange with Mark and decided that was the way to go at the moment. I'll keep you posted! LOL!
