Mid-Columbia Saltwater Aquarium Club

April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

My Reeflo Snapper tried to light itself on fire, melting the plastic bit support where all the wires connect.  I am going to try and get it fixed, but I have no idea where to do it in town.  I'm also not sure if it's under warranty at all.

The bigger issue is that now I have nothing to move water between my sump and DT.  Does anyone have a spare snapper/dart that I could borrow or know where I could buy a new one?  I really wouldn't mind having a spare in case this happens again.

I don't think so, I've unfortunately not met very many people here yet, since my life has been pretty crazy since I moved in June.  I bought my system from Alex Price (Taqpol) and he was using the same pump, so maybe that's who you're thinking of .

FYI, ReeFlo was pretty awesome about the whole thing.  I told them what happened and they just shipped me a new one, didn't even ask for me to ship it back so I wouldn't pay to ship something that was completely broken.

James,
ON Reef Frontiers there is a gentleman looking to buy a part for Snapper.   So maybe you both can help each other?   Awesome News!   I am very happy to hear this! Smiley

It turns out he does need a couple little parts that I'm going to send his way.

Thanks for thinking of me.  I wish I could actually meet some of you guys, but all of the meetings have been on nights when I have other commitments.  Hopefully I can be there next month, which will be a welcome break from moving to a new house.
