April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

Okay newbie question, I am just about ready to add a cuc to my 75g tank, I currently have Nassarius snails, Strombus snails, 1 Blue Legged Hermit and 2 Peppermint Shrimp in a 29g tank with my 4 fish.  I would really like to get in on this order, but I don't want to add to large of a cuc as I don't want anything to starve.  I would really like some red and green Emerald Crabs, Sally Lightfoot and maybe add a few Astrea snails, I would also like to get some Ricordia. Thanks ahead of time for any advice! Smiley

Drstratton, research a little more on the sally lightfoot. They get pretty aggressive as they grow and will attack fish. I had to get rid of mine after it got to about an inch and a half wide across the shell. It was constantly striking out at anything that got near it.

Thanks Jerry, I was looking at them last night and didn't see anything about that, but someones experience with them means more to me than what I read.  So in that case I will stay away from that one.

Hey! We've been talking on the phone about a small order, lets make it 5 blue legs, 1 emerald, and I'd like 2 astrea snails as well. Please let me know when you get them, and you should have my number!
