January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

I asked the same question in the Board of Director's forum yesterday, but have yet to hear back from Carmen.  Supposedly the meeting is to be at Carmen and Nacho's place, but not sure if they are ready to host yet or not.

Understand that - not like I've made any meetings lately...

Main thing is, just trying to do my job as prez and bug people occasionally.  Wink

We will do August but just so you all know that there is no tank to show off but you can always provide advice on where we should put our next tank at or watch finding nemo Grin.

We had talked about maybe doing the yard sale so my thought was to have it on Friday night in hopes that we can price and sort thru stuff and have the sale on Saturday.

We have a few things to put out but we will definitely need more so my garage is open to those that want to drop off items.

We are home in the evenings and this would give everyone time to drop off any day of the week until then.

Let me know what your thoughts are and who is willing to participate.

We have things we can drop off for the sale.  We'll try to get things priced and over for you sometime next week.  We'll be out of town, so won't be able to help with set-up though.  I think our next free weekend is sometime around Sept. 18th.  Tongue

Tis the season.  Attendance has been low the last few months so I don't expect much participation so I would be biting off more than I can chew if I decide to do this because we all know how much work this involves.

Unless I hear soon on who will help, I may just give up the whole yard sale idea and just have the meeting for those FEW that would like to attend.

Hey Carmen- are you talking meeting the 13th, garage sale the 14th? Marty will be in the air Friday night (the 13th). I could, maybe, help with the sale on Saturday, trying to decide if I want to go to the informal Mustang club meeting Friday evening.
I will be out of town again (this will be my 6th trip since June 1st) from the Aug. 17th-21st.
We may not have much to contribute to the sale but I will check.
Let me know what I can do, Katy

P.S. September is still nice, and most vacations are over, maybe we should do it then....

We are going to hold off on the Yard Sale but we will have the meeting on Friday night at 7:00 pm.

We feel that we may have a better turnout because Saturday's always seem to be busy for everyone.

It will be the usual with raffles, food and fun.  Again, no tank but good company and we will keep our minds open on suggestions of where our next tank should go in the new house.

Hope to see you here.

I just spoke with Nate.   He has some goodies for Raffle.   I may also be doing a livestock order.  Anyone interested in that?   You may want to show up and talk if you do.
Thank you Nacho n Carmen and family for  hosting!
See you there! Smiley

I will be out of town (unusual for me).  Have fun, everyone.
