January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

If you could add another 10 snails to my order to bring me to 50, I would appreciate it.  I don't know which kind, just trying to bring you to a round number.

Hi All, I just was notified that I need to be out of town next Thursday and Friday so I will have to delay the order for one week. That means the snails will be arriving here June 10 or 11. That of course means that we have a few more days to order. Please give me a call or send an IM so we can figure out how to meet up and finalize your orders. 509-308-4956

I recommend one snail per gallon myself.  My thoughts are  30 for 29 gallon would be fine.    I would worry about food supply.

Thank-you very much, then I guess I will take 30 Smiley.

I contacted the supplier and the nerites are on backorder so it looks like the shipment wont be in this week but next to avoid unnecessary shipping costs. Please everyone who is wanting some confirm it with me so I can ensure we will get all we would like to order. So far I have
Wayne with 200 nerites and 100 nassarius
Ed with 100 nerites and 130 nassarius
Kyleb with 100 of each
Angie with 100 of each
Drstratton with 30 nerites
Rigotoniman with 10 of each
MrsBode with 30 nerites and 20 nassarius.

Please everyone confirm this because this is what I have coming.

Thanks!

Hi Jerry:

If it is after June 14th, I will need to pass because I am on business travel for two weeks.  If it is on or before June 14th, I am a go.

Hey Jerry,
Are the snails coming in today?    I took time off today hoping to catch you early if they were.   I need to acclimate them by 5pm today if so.

thanks in advance,
