January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Hi everyone,

Quick note to let you know we've decided to move the May meeting to the 15th of May instead of the 8th - since the 9th is Mother's Day.  We don't want to interfere with that, so the 3rd weekend will be a better bet.  We'll have pulled pork sandwiches for all who want them, please bring drinks and food to share as per usual.   We are thinking about having the meeting start at 5PM since the weather is nice and we can spend some time out on the back porch as well as around the tank that way. Anyone that doesn't know how to get to our house feel free to PM me.  See everyone then!

Glad to hear it was moved since the 8th is all the Sr. Proms in the area as well as WSU's comencement ceremonies.  Is the 15th still the day of our yard sale?Huh

No, the yard sale will be the main topic for this meeting.  We need someone that can host, and to choose a date.  Ed and Stacie can't host it this year as they had hoped.

I will be out of town on the 15th, unfortunately.  If you do decide to have a yard sale in the next month or so, I could probably donate tomato plants again.

Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

Thanks Paul.  Sorry you won't be able to make the meeting, but we'll keep you posted on if/when the yard sale gets scheduled.
