January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Jim,

Nate and I are in need of more CA & Alk mix for our dosers.  Also I believe Wayne (Fraggy) is in need of some Carbon.

Any chance you can start putting together an order?

I would like 1 ea. 5-gal buckets of Calcium Chloride and I am looking at a few more items once I review their website a bit more.

Thanks
Rick

Jim, can you quote me prices on the 5gal Ca and Alk as well as the 2 gal Mg?  I hate to say it, but, if you are going to charge me shipping and 10% over cost, it's probably cheaper for me to order myself with my preferred customer status.

Hi:

Count me in for some Magnesium supplies as a minimum.  Can you give a heads up on the approximate time of the next order.

What is the timing on the bulk reef order?  I may go separate depending on the timing.

Hey everyone, I just talked with Jimbo.  He and I compared costs on things, and he can get a slightly better deal on things at his cost, but we still have to pay tax to him to the order - so it ends up that we end up with a better deal to have me place the order with my preferred account and not have to pay tax since they are out of state.

Let me know if anyone has an issue with having to come to Richland for the items instead of Kennewick.

Nate, I would love the chance to see your tank again, but I made some salt water today and my DI resin is all used up. I am going to place my order on my own just to ensure I get my RO tank refilled before I run out.

Thanks,

Robert

No problem Robert.  However, if you want, PM me and I can still place the order for you, you'll still get the 5% discount, you just won't get to share shipping costs.  (also, you'd have an excuse to come see the tank to pay Cheesy)

Actually, there's no break in price on those items, so it's not worth having me order for you.  You'll be best to just go ahead.

Last chance everyone.

So far I have only Rick confirmed for 1 5Gal bucket of CaCl and me for a load of stuff - 5Gal CaCl, 5Gal Soda Ash, 5Gal MgCl, GFO, RO/DI filters and membrane, couple test kits...

Jerry, do you still want to order anything?

Anyone else want to tag along?

I was called away to SF on business unexpectedly and won't be able to get to you for payment,  so I am afraid I can't get in on this order.
