Still some meetings open for 2010.

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.  
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Hello everyone, we've got a good number of the meetings covered for this year, but there's a few for which we still need to find a host.  Here's the list as it stands right now:

Please reply to this thread if you want to take any of the months listed as open - including August - and I will update the original post appropriately.  I would like to give Rod & Cindy the first chance at October, as they have typically hosted the Halloween meeting.  I will update if I hear a confirmation or turn-down from them and it will be open for anyone else at that point if they don't take it.

Also, you don't have to be a registered member to host - just willing to share your tank/home with us.

Go ahead and put us down for November.  We don't know where we will be but it will be in the Tri-Cities somewhere.  We sold our house and we are under contract on one but we still need to go thru all ropes.

I should have paid more attention to the open dates.  I would like to do August instead of November.  Heck, put me down for both.  With the August date, it will just motivate us to re set up our tank sooner and have it ready by then. 

What a pleasant surprise to have Les host the meeting.  That will be worth going to check out because it's unique (being in the shop) and very BIG.  I love it!

Carmen, got the change made - you are Aug and Nov now.  Let me know if you don't want to do both.
