Hey-I saw this listing last night on the Spokane Craigslist. Looks like Pasco Petland is selling off the commercial tanks from their fish section.  Huh Anyone have any info? I'd hate to see them pull their salt section. We couldn't make the meeting Friday night so perhaps this was already discussed.

They are moving to the space next to the one they are in so they are down sizing all of the fish department. I think it is all being cut roughly in half.

Last time I was in there the owner said he is planning on keeping the same amount of saltwater stock available.  Could have been fluff to get me to keep coming back after the remodel, who knows..  Either way, I sure like Petland.

If I remember correctly the plan was to try keeping the same number and types of fish in the entire fish department just fewer tanks.

They are keeping the same amount but yes not as many fishtanks!  The state moved them so they could put in a liquor store where Petland used to be!  They are still willing to try and special order anything you want!

Oh Boy, Liquor Store and Fish Store side by side has got to be the ideal picture for someone I know.  Too funny!

See you at the December meeting.

Thanks for the info. guys. I agree with Carmen that a fish store next to a Liquor store is a dream strip mall scenario.  Grin
