January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

It will be held at Nacho & Carmen's house in Basin City September 12th at 5:00 pm in order to allow everyone to get back in a timely manner since it could seem like a road trip to some.  It is about 30 miles north of the Tri-Cities and some of you may want to car pool which has been a popular way to travel in the past.

Late comers are welcome so don't speed as some have experienced that it's not a good idea on a stretch like this.  Just a warning!

It will be the usual with a raffle, food which will include Brisket, Bratwurst & corn on the cob provided by us and whatever else everyone would like to bring to share and I can't forget the refrigerator with the host/hostess favorite beverage Wink  Those of you that were at the MCMAC Friday night social know what I'm talking about so come prepared.

Nacho will be donating frags for the raffle so bring a cooler if you're feeling lucky.  I must say his tank looks good and it would be worth checking out in person.

If you haven't received meeting information in the past and you would like the directions, go ahead and PM me your email address and I will see that you get added to my distribution list.

Hope to see you here!

I've sent out a few private messages regarding directions and anyone who has requested to be added to the distribution list, has been added so let me know if you got the email.

Some of you have also inquired about car pooling so if there are any volunteers and you have room, please post.

See you!

I have some bad news... I can't attend my first meeting. I just found out that I have to work from 3-12 tomorrow night:( so it looks like I'll have to wait till next month to meet you all.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed the meeting and I'm sure everyone went home with something because I've never seen so many items being raffled at any given meeting, so that was great.

The raffled frags were definitely a hot item.  We enjoyed seeing everyone here which included some new members, some we haven't seen in a while and one family member by surprise as well as many of our core members.

The dinner was awesome, thanks to our Grill Master and thanks to everyone that brought other food items to go with the main course.

We were very happy with the turn out and appreciate everyone taking the road trip and hope everyone made it back safe.

Thanks again and hope to see you all at the next meeting which is October 24th (Halloween meeting) at Rod & Cindy's.  More details to come later.
