April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I Have Vicki and Darrels 150 gallon tank.   It is has small stress cracks.
It does have a seam that has started to seperate.     If someone wants to make use of it.   They can have it for free.   I think its fixable.

You will need to  clean it up and glue one seam.    Its at your own risk.   I think you will be fine but I want to be upfront.    I have it on saw horses at my house.
Call me tonight after 3pm @ 374-0815.     I am thinking a good muratic acid wash all over and some number 3 weldon a few strips of acrylic along seams maybe a brace and letting it sit for a week would do the trick.   Its a nice tank or was.    I hope someone can use it again.

Hi Everyone.  We appreciate all the good thoughts and the interest in our equipment.  I thought I'd provide an update of what we have available.  We still have a great Euroreef skimmer (seen in the attached photo), the oak cabinet (stand and canopy - which has the sliding frame with actinic lights/moon lights, fan), Aquacontroller, the UV sterilizer (needs a new bulb), the motorized ball valve with timer, the Iwaki pump and the Dolphin 4700, refractometer, sliding halide light frame.  Also a vast variety (was going to say "pile") of plumbing 'stuff'.  We really would like to entertain offers on these items.  The beautiful custom-made, oak stand and canopy are just too nice to not be used for a tank; it will fit any 60"X24" tank.  Please pass the word along to anyone setting up a new system or looking to change their current stand and canopy.  I've attached photos.  For information, more pictures, or to come take a look, please call Vicki 438-1199, Darrel 205-9772, or send a PM.  We really enjoyed our time in the hobby and all the club events, and especially appreciate everyone in the club who helped us, encouraged us and just had fun together!  We wish you all a great conference this year and hope someone comes along who is looking for some nice equipment at a good price.  Thanks all!

The tank is gone.   It is in Portland now.   It is going to a Tank builder first to have some work done.     Thanks Vicki and Darrel for giving it to someone that needed a tank.  Smiley
