April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

I had a leak in my tank.   I spent time trying to figure out where it came from.   I tore my tank completely down.   I used two rubber maid trash cans for my animals and water.   I took my tank outside and cleaned it and inspected it for leaks.   I filled it with water and let it sit in my garage.
I lifted my tank stand to find water under it.   My wife had suggested a clean runner or walk matt under my tank stand.  I am thankful we did that.   I would have had a lot of water damage if I had not.  I had at least two gallons of water under my stand.
Last week I had a Rio that broke free from attachment of water line and it shot water outside my tank.   I lost a lot of water I used my extractor to suck up as much water as I could.  I rented a fan to dry my carpet.  The only thing I did not expect was water seeping under my stand.   Rod Harrington thanks for trying to help me very much.  Rod came over and tried to help me find leak.   He and I were totally baffled.
I replaced all my water lines.  I removed my prefilter.  I was convinced that was the source of water.   I now know that it was water from previous occurance.   My tank is in my garage now.   My stand on bricks.
My fish , coral, and invertebrates are in trash cans with water, heaters, and powerheads.   Wife wants my tank to go into den.  It will very soon.
I will also buy another rubber runner to place under it.  I am pretty upset but the good thing is...My tank is not leaking, My sump is not leaking, and hopefully I will have minimum loss.    I will put tank back up hopefully tonight.

If anyone wants to help I would love it?  I have to put this back together today!  I lost a percula clown and yellow tang so far.  I am trying to get out of work at 10 am today.

I had some pretty bad luck.   I lost all my fish and most of my coral.   Rod, thank you for your help moving and cleaning  my tank and stand, canopy  and mounting my power strips in good locations.    I owe you Buddy!     Matt,  I am not sure how much coral I lost?  I believe you help prevent  more loss.    Matt fixed two other issues in my tank.   I was concerned with my sump overfilling if I had a power outage.  Matt invented a neat little shut off.   You will have to see it.  Matt also built a cover to prevent my skimmer from shooting water out of sump.   I swear this guy is a genius sometimes.    My rock is stacked neatly.   I removed all my sand bed.   I will take it slow and see what happens?   Thanks again for your help Rod and Matt.   I hope I can help you someway.
