January Meeting 1/14/12 @ 6PM! - OFFICER ELECTIONS!

Beau is hosting the January Meeting this coming Saturday the 14th at 6PM.  It will be BYOB as well as a snack to share and raffle items are always welcome.  It has been requested that there be “NO SHOES” on the carpet due to it being a whitish color.

He doesn’t have a tank to view but we will have plenty to discuss in hopes that it will get the NEW YEAR off to a good start.  The annual membership fees are due, so now would be a good time to get them in to our Treasurer Stacey Hahn.   Fees are $20 per individual or $25 per family

Attendance was low at the election meeting in November and no votes were taken at December’s meeting so we have decided to take votes for anyone that didn’t get the opportunity in November and will be attending this meeting.
We will add the votes to November’s ballots and the announcement will be made during the meeting so we can go forward.
NOMINATIONS:
President:  Jim & Nacho
V. President: Ed, Bo & Daniel Leigey
Treasurer: Stacey
Secretary: Carmen & Angie

Let’s hope the New Year brings new members, returning members and new ideas.  The club is always willing to take suggestions to get the most out of the hobby we all enjoy.

Please PM Nate C. by clicking here for directions if you are not a club member.

Club members can click here to go to the club member only forum to get directions.

Hope to see you all there!

Hello Beau,
I let someone borrow my extra RO/DI unit.    I do have a Ro plumbed in my  house.  I am offering you water from it?   I can make three gallons a hour.   If you want bring your water containers over or I  have some you can borrow.   I will fill some up for ya.   The fun is this hobby is sharing.

Thanks for the replies and offers of ro water.  I'm not in a big rush, I get my water from work mostly for now.  Keep me in mind if you guys see anything near us here in tri cities.  Or let Nacho know, we talk tanks at work everyday.

There's also some fairly inexpensive ones on ebay you could look at.

Colleen and I are headed to Seattle the weekend after this coming, so if you found one on reeffrontiers, we could pick it up for you.  Just let us know.

I have one I bought on ebay a couple years ago. I was using it up until a couple weeks ago when I took my tank down.  I'd be willing to give it away for $40

Which one from ebay, and how is it? Prices for RO/DI units on ebay are substantially lower than elsewhere....

I've been thinking about ordering one.

Marty, I don't have one of them, but have heard good things about them.  Can't tell you which one though, sorry.

Beau,  Hey I got your call but just stepped in the house.  I'll be around tomorrow if you want to come take a look. Afternoon is best.

Marty I've never tested the water with a TDS meter but its worked the last couple years.
