April meeting 4/14 @ 7PM - Grant's house

Laura and Jim will be hosting the May meeting this Saturday the 12th and it will be the usual of food, drinks, raffle and fun.

Doors will be open at 6:00 pm for social talk and the meeting will start at 7:00.  Parking gets a little tight and the city says you can't park on 4th but there is a parking lot a block away.   Meeting is usually held in the backyard so feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair, weather permitting of course.

If you need address/directions, contact a club member.

Best if you park at Mini Mall (where the spaghetti establishment use to be)

You will get to see his new frag tank set up in the making.

Hope to see you there!

So its sad to do this but my tank has been over grown with hair algae and it has just been a struggle to keep up.  So with my new job and other things keeping me busy I just dont have the time.  I'm going to be giving everything in my tank away. I started this hobby with someone giving me one xenia and I sold or traded until I have almost all of this.  Of course I bought the equipment and some livestock but a lot of this was traded for.   So I'm passing this on everyone else.  Some things are a bit roughed up with some algae on them and others may be on a death bed but If you want it, come on down to Hermiston to get it.

I had this tank going for 4+ years in Seattle and we moved this summer and ever since the tank had been a thorn in my side so I'm clearing house and I'll be seting up a lower maintenance tank later but for now these have to go.  I either needed to upgrade some equipment or step aside and thats what I'm doing.

A disclaimer- The photos are of my tank last spring just showing some of the coral. Right now my tank looks nothing like it.  a lot of the corals are faded and dont look good but they can bounce back.

I had heard that you were going to do this and was saddened by it but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Nacho is interested in the rock of green zoo's and also the Plate Coral.  Also 2 corals that are in the picture that is second to the last which is a purple tip coral and the one that looks like a table top.   Free is good but we can't take it all for free so we can work something out.

I work in Plymouth so I'm just across the bridge from you so I can go over one day after work and pick them up.  If anyone else is interested in anything and I can be of service, please let me know.

I can schedule for sometime next week so just let me know a good time for you.

Thanks!

Ryan,
If  you want to plant things in corner of my tank until you get more time.   Feel welcome.   I can store your stuff on bottom of my tank in corner until you are ready.
Let me know if you need anything I have.   Have you thought about bumping up your magnesium slowly to combat Algae?

I would love to take the coral beauty and a couple of your corals (whichever ones Carmen picks out for me) Cheesy I would be interested in any of your clean up crew as well....so sad.....the pictures are so pretty! Carmen- if this happens and you picked up for me I could meet you somewhere on your way home and pick them up from you.

Now that the house remodel is done I am looking at my tank and ready to start working on it again.  So I need some critters.

I would like the Derasa clam, the watermelon welsi,  the red candy cane with green centers, the remaining clown (if true perc) the yellow tang if still available and a few of the acro's.

Carmen if you are going to pick these up that would be great.  If you can't we can do a quick drive to Hermiston.

Thanks

Ive updated the list.

Carmen you can give me a call on my cell and meet me after work sometime next week  206 953 3617

Ed thanks for the offer.  I'll see how things go and I may get a hold of you if I need anything.

Rico the Yellow tang didnt make the move over so he's not available.  the welsi is showing some skeleton but I think it has enough soft tissue left to survive?

Thanks everyone.

purple shrooms
Pink Zoas
brown zoas
green ric's

green chromis
royal gamma

Sorry you have to take a break. I know how these things go.. I gave away everything when we moved from Colorado back to Washington..  When you come back (you will) you will be more then welcome if you went them back.

When do you need them picked up?

Anything left? I'm already fighting hair algae, so it won't make things worse for me...
